Introduction.

Unlike most articles this page has no content about cohousing. Instead it is a page to help quickly learn to edit articles by example. The associated regular web page: [Fred's Mediawiki crib sheet] has source code of wiki Example above can serve as a reference to look up basic syntax. That is what you enter in wiki editor to get links etc.

Cohousingwiki uses the software "MediaWiki" which is also used by Wikipedia Any registered user can edit pages to allow the content here to be more collaborative. Edits can be as simple as fixing a typo, modest artcles or complex (lots of special layout, images etc etc. See wikipedia articles.)

This page gives examples of features used on a "modest" page. It has basic features that are typically included in simple MediaWiki web pages. Note that most of these features can be inserted by clicking on the appropriate icon at the top of the edit window and then edit the content. The intent of this page and associated regular web page is to help people just learning to edit pages by example. For many other features see Help:Contents
